Goons of the BJP and the RSS, he said, were inflicting endless brutality on millions of Muslims and there was no end to their crimes against humanity. The situation was reached at point of no return and people of all religions were ready to take to the streets against Hindutva gangs, he added.
Siraj said the JI was mobilizing people on Kashmir by holding rallies in different cities since the day India abrogated the special status of the held area. He said the scholars of all schools should demonstrate unity and make efforts to create awareness among the people on Kashmir. He said it was duty of every Pakistani to take a firm stand in support of their besieged brethren.
The JI chief expressed regret over the silence of world on the worst human rights violation in the held region. He said over eight million people were forced to live like prisoners and the region was turned into a biggest prison of the world but international community was acting as silent spectator. Siraj added that curfew entered 60th day with people were starving to death.
He thanked Turkish president and Malaysian prime minister for raising voice for the Muslims. He said conspiracies were being hatched against the Islamic movements because they were the true representative of Ummah. He said Muslims should unite to face the challenges being posed by secular lobby. Siraj said the fight for Kashmir was the fight for realization of Pakistan and it will ultimately succeed.
Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Amirul Azeem has said the Lahorites will demonstrate a rare show of unity in support of the people of Kashmir on October 6. "Save Kashmir March will be attended by thousands. India will get a clear message on the day that people of Pakistan were standing shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brethren and ready to go every extent in their support," said Azeem while addressing a press conference at Faisal Chowk on Wednesday.
He, earlier, along with JI head of Central Punjab chapter Javid Kasuri and Lahore chapter head Zikrullah Mujahid reviewed the arrangements of the Sunday's event which JI was organizing in connection of its Save Kashmir campaign. He appealed the people to attend the rally on the Mall to demonstrate solidarity with Kashmiris.
Azeeem said it was due to failed diplomacy of the present and past governments that world was silent on Indian cruelties in the occupied region. He demanded Islamabad to devise solid strategy and launch an aggressive diplomacy on Kashmir. He said the responsibility lied on the shoulders of the rulers to fight the Kashmir case at every forum until the people of the held area got liberation from Indian yoke of slavery.
